Terms of Service

By using the Query Dojo website or the Query Dojo iPhone app ("Query Dojo"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Query Dojo.

What Query Dojo is

Query Dojo is an educational service for learning and practicing SQL with interactive lessons, challenges and sample databases. It doesn't guarantee interview results or job placement, doesn't provide official certification, and never connects to your real databases.

Free and Premium

• Free: a selection of challenges, all lessons on the website, and the SQL playground.
• Premium: every challenge, full solutions, timed mock interviews and more.

Subscriptions in the iPhone app

• Current prices in the US: $7.95 per month or $49.95 per year. Prices vary by region and may change; changes apply to later billing periods.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

Web subscriptions aren't available yet. When they are, we'll add their terms here before launch.

Acceptable use

• Use Query Dojo for personal learning.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
• Don't share subscription access or republish our challenges, lessons or solutions.

Intellectual property

Query Dojo's design, code, challenges, lessons and content belong to Salimov Studios and are protected by copyright. Queries you write are yours.

No warranty

Query Dojo is provided "as is". We work hard on accuracy, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every device or browser, or that every challenge has only one valid solution (SQL often has several).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salimov Studios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using Query Dojo, including loss of locally stored progress or decisions made based on it.

Changes and termination

We may update features, content and these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. You can stop using Query Dojo at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
